Short Summary:

Adrielle Pyper knows how to plan a wedding, and she’s especially good at pleasing bridezillas. But when her biggest client and best
friend is murdered just three days before the wedding, Adri’s world falls apart. She moves to the resort town of Sun Valley, Idaho, and starts from scratch. Thanks to Adri’s impeccable taste and unique style, she lands two celebrity clients, and her business seems headed for success that is, until someone vandalizes the specialty wedding dresses she imported from overseas. The race is on to uncover a secret hidden within the yards of satin and lace before Adri becomes the next victim.

With a delightful blend of mystery, toe-curling kisses, humor, and spine-tingling thrills, Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things is a romantic suspense novel that will keep you turning pages long into the night.

My Thoughts:

I found myself pleasantly surprised with this murder mystery. RJC brought in a new level of psychopathy to cozy mysteries. Without revealing much more about the story itself, I will reveal that it was set up very nicely and proceeded in a way that I mostly predicted minus one or two main aspect that I will try to figure out how I missed on my next tun through the book. The writing was light, but held an air of mystery throughout. We were presented with mysteries from every angle, from the initial theft to who was Luke really? I really enjoyed all the crafts and tips thrown in at the beginning of each chapter, I actually have 5 weddings to attend this year, so any tips are uber helpful! I will be checking out her blog (which is real!!) as soon as I finish here!

Adri was sassy and fun and had me laughing at many page turns. She captured my head and I found myself identifying with her on multiple occasions. Second, I have to mention Lorea, the deserving mess handler who has her opinion and I’ll be damned if you don’t listen to what she has to say! Honestly, these two women are taking the wedding world by storm, so watch out and enjoy! The boys are more than eye-candy, but I don’t want to spoil the potential romanic readers ;).

All in all, let us just say that this book as a page turner and I enjoyed it despite the predictability as a cozy mystery. I would highly recommend this book for cozy mystery lovers!

    1. It really is amazing what is all out there! It was a great read and I would encourage it, though it does have its violent parts as a murder mystery, the crafting tips really give it something unique 😀
