Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves [28]

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual.  This means you can include books that you buy in a physical store or online, books your borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks.

This week I ended up somewhere I haven’t been in a long time.  Like a super long time. Like I was shocked how much had changed at my favorite store at the mall. I went back to Barnes & Nobles, and this is my haul. I attempted to reign myself in, but I found one employee who was just recommending awesome books and I was so sad when I had to say ‘no’ to two of them due to the fact that I’m broke. If you follow me on Instagram (where I have been known to post book pics and comments), then you’ve already seen this week’s haul.

Red Rising (Red Rising #1) by Pierce Brown
Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Black Widow: Forever Red by Margaret Stohl
Slasher Girls and Monster Boys edited by April Genevieve Tucholke

After this satisfying haul, I planned on being done for the week, but apparently Penguin Teen had another a plan for me.  My sister handed me this package when we went out to dinner last night and I couldn’t remember ordering anything so I opened it.  I was overly delighted to find that they had sent me this copy of The Rose Society (The Young Elites #2) by Marie Lu, which simply means 1. I need to read and get the first book in the series, and 2. I need to read her Legend series.  Both of these are things that I can deal with, so thank you Penguin Teen!

Sorry this post is so late, my computer was being stupid…. What are you guys reading this week?
